Handmade Love Lillybelle Showcase

Tonight is the latest Handmade Love showcase, featuring Lillybelle fabric by Bari J for Art Gallery Fabrics. A number of entries are from Sewing Sisterhood members.

Sakurako has made a single bed quilt with matching quilted standard pillowcase and 12 flag bunting. Measuring approx 80" x 55", the quilt fits a single or king single bed as a full cover or a double or queen bed as a bed runner. 

The co-ordinating pillowcase features a matching patched and stippled top and is bound in teal. The back features 3 self covered buttons and ribbon loops. It fits a standard rectangle bed pillow. The 12 flag bunting features one flag from each fabric used in the quilt.

This gorgeous tote bag and wallet set is from My Obsession Designs. The tote has two 'jean style' pockets on the front of the bag. The inner contains two pockets for little things which would otherwise be lost in the bottom of the back. It had a quality magnetic fastener to close the bag, and the tote is embellished with 2 hand crocheted doilies and 3 imitation pearl buttons. 

The tote is accompanied by a folded wallet with 6 card slots, 1 large zippered pocket for coins and 3 full width pockets for cash, notes, receipts etc. A quality magnetic snap is attached to the flap for hassle free closure. The wallet is also embellished with a hand crocheted doily and an imitation pearl button.

This cute little superhero softie is by Perigren Creations. Made using an Original Little Sew & Sews design, he measures approximately 34cm tall and features an attached superhero cape and felt eye mask. He is stuffed firm for active play using low-allergen toy fill. 

Or Elsie has submitted a fully reversible kitchen set which includes an apron with tie back and pocket detail, a quilted Kitchenaid cover and a matching double oven mitt.

And finally from Puppy Dogs Tails there are these funky boys shorts in size 4. Dressy style shorts for stylish boys, they feature an adjustable elastic waist, faux fly detailing and mock buttoned cuffs.

TINKmas Showcase

A few of the Sisters are involved in the Tink Handmade TINKmas Showcase this Friday night. There's a great selection of Christmas-theme goods available at very reasonable prices and is well worth checking out.

Holly from Puppy Dogs Tails has submitted the "Blue Christmas" nappy cover set in size 6-12 months. This set includes a 100% cotton decorative nappy cover with contrasting leg trim and a matching applique singlet. Perfect for a hot Christmas day!

Leigh from Sakurako has created a Christmas home décor set comprising of a quilted tree skirt and matching card display. The quilt skirt is pieced 100% cotton and quilted all over in a meandering stipple with a variegated red and white thread. It is backed and bound in cream cotton. It features 3 self-covered buttons with red ribbon loops at the back.

The card display features two raw-edge scrappy pieced birds stippled with variegated red and white thread and featuring a white ribbon hanging loop. From each birds beak comes a red ribbon for displaying Christmas cards. Included is 10 raw miniature pegs for hanging the cards.

Jodie from Three Little Chickens has entered the "Grace" Dress in size 12-18 Months. A cute, cool and comfortable style with puff sleeves and a waist ribbon, this Grace dress is made from hot pink candy cane print and accented with lime green. 

Jade from Perfectly Piper has created the "Merri" Dress in size 3. This girly dress is made from 100% designer cotton and features a fully lined bodice, twirly skirt, and button closure. It also has fully adjustable straps and a sash for a custom fit. Perfect to get a little princess into the Christmas spirit. 

In other showcase news, the Handmade Love Lillybelle Showcase is rapidly approaching. Scheduled for the weekend of 24th-25th of November, again a number of Sisters are involved and will have a variety of items for sale including quilts, home decor, and children's clothing.
